Book South Sea Island Fun Day Trip: Fiji Activity

South Sea Island in Fiji is famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and relaxing island atmosphere. Book half-day or full-day trip and see corals in a semi-submersible boat without getting wet.

South Sea Island is only a short boat ride from Port Denarau and is ideal for travelers who want to experience a tropical island without staying overnight. Booking this day tour includes activities, meals, drinks, and entertainment, making it an stress-free and fun-filled day for couples, families, and groups. It has a semi-submersible boat to look at corals and fishes up close without getting wet.

South Sea Island Itinerary

For the full-day tour, the air-conditioned catamaran departs from Port Denarau at 10:00am whereas half-day tour departs at 12:15pm. Journey time from Port Denarau to South Sea Island is a scenic 45min cruise. There’s an open top deck above to do a Jack and Rose “I’m king of the world” pose.

During the cruise, guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge, enjoy open-air seating, and use the onboard Wi-Fi. The cruise stops at Malamala Island first before heading to South Sea Island.

After arriving near the island, guests are transferred by small tender boat onto the island itself. This short transfer adds to the authentic tropical island experience. This day trip includes pre-book transportation from and to various designated hotels, complimentary use of snorkeling gear, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for water activities, free BBQ lunch and drinks (local beer, house wine and soft drinks), salt water swimming pool, underwater coral viewer, kids club for 3-12 year olds and Fijian ‘Meke’ cultural dance.

Beautiful tropical island with overwater bungalows and clear blue ocean waters.
